Editorial policy
Honest Sports Review aims to explain sport clearly and fairly. Our editorial approach values accuracy, transparent distinctions between fact and interpretation, and visible corrections when something needs to change.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against relevant, reliable material available to the editorial process and take care with rule terminology, dates and descriptions. We frame analysis as analysis, not settled fact. Where a rule or format differs between competitions, the article should make its scope clear rather than imply one version applies everywhere.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Partner or sponsored material is identified clearly wherever it appears, and a paid relationship does not determine the conclusions of an editorial article. We do not describe a partner placement as an independent endorsement.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error or an unclear passage, they can send the relevant detail through the Contact page. We review specific, checkable concerns and correct material when warranted. A correction should make the change clear; a minor wording edit that does not alter meaning need not be presented as a factual correction.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Where an image could reasonably be mistaken for documentary photography or a real event, we aim to make its illustrative nature clear. Images are not evidence that a described sporting moment took place.
